Mary’s Lent Diary (Fourth Sunday of Lent)

And Mary said:

My soul glorifies the Lord
and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour,
for he has been mindful
of the humble state of his servant.
From now on all generations will call me blessed,
for the Mighty One has done great things for me –
holy is his name.

(Luke 1)

If you look back over last week, what ‘great things’ do you see has God done for you?

(Helped with a tricky situation at work, pointed you to a parking space, given a sunny day….)

If you look ahead to the coming week, where do you anticipate needing His Great Help?

Father God,

Thank You that I can look back and see Your faithfulness.

Thank You that I can look ahead with confidence that You will be with me.
