Mary’s Lent Diary (Fifth Sunday of Lent)

And Mary said:

‘My soul glorifies the Lord

and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour,

for he has been mindful

of the humble state of his servant.

From now on all generations will call me blessed,

for the Mighty One has done great things for me –

holy is his name.’

(Luke 1)

Holy means worthy of honour and worship.

God deserves to be honoured and worshipped.

He is worthy of it.

How will you give Him honour and worship today?

Father God,

I worship You.

Holy is Your name.

Amen
