Mary’s Lent Diary (Second Sunday of Lent)

Mary said:

‘My soul glorifies the Lord
and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour,

for he has been mindful
of the humble state of his servant.’

(Luke 1)

Mary is saying that, in being mindful of her, God notices her and cares about her.
